At Anshin Homestay AU, many of our preferred hosts are mature ladies who bring life experience, stability, patience, and genuine care to the homestay environment. Often described by students as having a warm "mum" or "grandmother" style approach, these hosts understand the importance of creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive home for young people living away from their families.
Many international students are travelling overseas for the first time and appreciate the reassurance of a caring host who is available to offer guidance, practical support, and encouragement when needed. Mature hosts are often more established in their homes, have flexible schedules, and are able to provide a calm, comfortable environment that helps students settle quickly into Australian life.
